Who Is Songbird?
Written by Songbird

Wow, I cannot believe that the Cornerstone Gazette has been up and running for two solid years now. I remember vividly in 2010 I was at a friends house and that was where this whole idea began. I came up with the idea that our Co-op should have a newspaper just like they do in High School. There should be a staff and an editor and it was going to be the best school newspaper ever! Once the idea was born we took off running. Our staff grew and the newspaper became much more successful then we had originally planned. I have had so much fun being a founder, writer, photographer, artist, and so much more for the Cornerstone Gazette. It has been a blast and has really enhanced my experience of Co-op. The staff of the Cornerstone Gazette is AMAZING! I am so proud of and so greatfull to everyone who has put in any effort in making the Cornerstone Gazette a success. I have been so happy that we have been able to keep the Cornerstone Gazette a student run publication for two solid years now. (except for some editing done by some amazing moms:) I am so greatfull to all of our dedicated readers and to all of you amazing people at Co-op I am so happy to have gotten the opportunity to attend Co-op with all of you! This is the big reveal! I have always tried to keep my identity a secret because I didn't want people to know who was behind the workings of the Gazette but now it is coming out. This year is certainly bitter sweet for me because I am graduating. This not only means that I will be leaving Co-op but that I will also be leaving the Cornerstone Gazette into the hands of others. This will be the last issue of the Cornerstone Gazette that I will have a hand in. I am so excited for the future of the Cornerstone Gazette I know even though I will be gone that there will be great things in it's future. I am so thankful to everyone who has worked with me side by side on this amazing project and I hope you all know how greatly I appreciate each and every one of you. I hope that you all have enjoyed reading the Cornerstone Gazette and I hope that each and everyone one of you has an amazing life! “For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you a hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 I can't believe my day's of Co-op are now over but I am so excited for my future. So for one final time...

CiCi's Pizza
Written by Songbird

Just a reminder to you all. CiCi's Pizza in Pickerington 256 has agreed to stay open late after so that we can all come and eat after showcase. They will be staying open from 9:00pm until 11:00pm In the past this has always been a very good time of fun, food, and socialization, after showcase. Thanks again to Cheryl Paul for calling CiCi's ahead so that they will stay open late for us. Remember this is not a Co-op run event so everyone needs to be responsible for their own kids during this time. I hope to see you all there tonight!

The Cornerstone Gazette is a student publication and not an official outlet of the Cornerstone Co-op or its Comittee
