Favorite Things About Co-op
Written by Songbird
Weare so blessed to be able to attend such an AMAZING Christian Co-op. There are so many benefits to attending Co-op, and I asked some students about what their favorite things about attending Cornerstone Co-op are.
"Being able to go to Co-op is a great privilege. It's very amazing to find a Christian Co-op where the teachers focus on God and do a great job of encouraging. I enjoy spending time with other homeschoolers and socializing." - @ l ; n @
"I love getting to see all of my friends each Tuesday at Co-op! It's a blessing to be able to learn new things in a safe Christian enviornment. I also love ASL. Mrs. Williams rocks! Though I don't always appreciate all the homework she gives us...: )" - Anonymous
"I love being able to talk to people of all ages here! It is so cool to get to talk to someone my age on minute, and the next to a mom or a younger student! I also enjoy the classes, and I'm working on appreciating all the homework. : )" - Anonymous
"I love going to Co-op because I have met some of my best friends there, and have some amazing teachers who have such Godly testimonies. I love doing all the experiments in science, and learning how to sign and sing! I've gotten some memories from this place!" -Anonymous
"My favorite thing about Co-op is getting to see and talk to people that I wouldn't otherwise get to see. I would have to add, though, that my Co-op day wouldn't be complete without my marvelous ASL class and the always enjoyable choir! (The only time it's not enjoyable is when I haven't practiced enough : ( ....Oops! you didn't just read that!) Anyway, I am very thankful for Co-op, and the committee that helps make it possible (And everybody else. : ) ). - Anonymous
"I love being able to attend Cornerstone Co-op. It's such a blessing to be able to come to an awesome Christian Co-op where I can take many different classes that I normally wouldn't be able to take by myself at home. My favorite thing about Co-op is spending time with my friends, ASL class, Art, and Choir." - Anonymous
Lions and Tigers and Bears Oh My!!
Written by Songbird
Last Tuesday at around 6:00pm over forty eight wild animals including lions, tigers, bears, wolves, cheetahs, camels, and giraffes escaped a private animal perserve in Zanesville, Ohio and were wandering loose in the city. The city was placed under lockdown. the towns residents were advised to stay inside until the animals were rounded up, and several schools across the area canceled classes on the Wednesday. This proves just another reason that it's amazing to be a homeschooled student. You do not have to worry about being attacked by wild animals on the way to school!
